A space to be heard,
fully and gently.
Holistic counselling is a client-centred approach that considers the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. It integrates traditional counselling with complementary techniques to support emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, and meaningful, lasting change.

Not just talk.
Traditional counselling focuses primarily on the mind. Holistic counselling widens the lens. It recognises that emotional struggle rarely lives in the mind alone. It shows up in the body, in our energy, in our relationships, in how we move through the day.
Sessions are warm and conversational. There is no formula, no script, no agenda you need to meet. You bring whatever is alive for you and we work with it together. Sometimes that’s talking through a current situation. Sometimes it’s exploring patterns that keep repeating. Sometimes it’s simply being heard without interruption or advice.
Where it makes sense, Zoe brings in techniques from her wider toolkit. That might be breathwork, gentle somatic awareness, or guided reflection. Always at your pace, always with your consent.
About Zoe & her background →
Mind. Body. Spirit.
Three threads of the same conversation. Each one matters. Each one informs the others.
Mind
Thoughts, beliefs, patterns of self-talk, the inner critic, decision-making, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are and what’s possible.
Body
How emotion lives in the body, nervous system regulation, the physical signals of stress and safety, and what your body is communicating beneath words.
Spirit
Your sense of meaning, values, connection, and what gives you a feeling of being whole. Not religious unless you want it to be. Always your definition.
Is holistic counselling for you?
If any of these feel familiar, you’d likely find these sessions valuable.
Going through something hard
Grief, relationship breakdown, a life transition, or a slow-burning sense that something needs to shift.
Stuck in patterns
The same conversations, the same arguments, the same fears showing up in new contexts.
Wanting self-awareness
You’re curious about yourself. You want to understand why you respond the way you do.
Burnt out, overwhelmed
Running on empty. The kind of tired that sleep doesn’t touch. Looking for a quieter way to live.
Open to whole-person work
You want more than analysis. You want a process that honours the body and inner life alongside the mind.
Looking for a safe space
Somewhere you can be honest, messy, contradictory, uncertain. Without judgement. Without performance.
Years of counselling work,
now formalised.
This work is not new for Zoe. As a Yoga Therapist, she has spent many years using counselling tools alongside body-based practice, holding space for clients through grief, anxiety, burnout, and identity shifts.
Before training in holistic counselling, Zoe worked as a Police Detective and Family Liaison Officer in London’s Metropolitan Police. That role required a counselling certificate to practise. She sat with people in the very worst moments of their lives. She learned to listen properly, to hold complexity without rushing to solve it, and to be a steady presence in a storm.
The Diploma in Holistic Counselling brings all of that experience together. It adds a contemporary, evidence-informed framework. And it formalises a way of working that Zoe has been refining for over a decade.

What to expect.
First sessions are 90 minutes so we have time to settle in properly. Ongoing sessions are 60 minutes, weekly or fortnightly, at the pace that suits you.
A free 20-minute call
Before any session, we have a relaxed call so you can ask questions, share what’s on your mind, and feel whether this is the right fit.
Your first session (90 min)
The first session is longer so we have space to map your story, what’s bringing you here, and what you’d like the work to focus on.
Ongoing sessions (60 min)
From there, sessions run for 60 minutes. We go where you need to go. Sometimes that’s deep. Sometimes it’s practical. Always your pace.
Online or in person
Online sessions via Zoom (worldwide), or in person on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Both work equally well. Choose whatever feels right.
“Zoe has a rare gift of holding space without judgement. I left every session feeling lighter and more like myself. She listens at a level most people don’t even know exists.”
