Privacy Policy

Zoe Bentley Healing is the trading name of Zoe Bentley, a sole trader based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland (ABN 84 761 319 915). This policy explains how I collect, use, store and share your personal information when you use this website, book a session or work with me. I handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What I collect
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number when you book a call or session, or get in touch.
- Booking details: the session you choose, its date and time, and anything you write in the booking form.
- Payment details: payments are processed by Stripe. I see that a payment was made, but I never see or store your full card number.
- Health and personal information: what you choose to share before and during sessions, and my session notes. This is sensitive information, and I only collect it with your consent and because it is needed to provide your sessions.
- Website information: the site and its booking tools may record basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, and use cookies needed for the booking forms to work. This site does not use advertising or analytics tracking.
How I collect it
Directly from you: through the booking forms, by email, by phone or text, and in sessions. You can contact me without giving your full name, although I will need your contact details to book and run sessions.
How I use it
- To arrange, provide and follow up your sessions.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders and changes by email and SMS.
- To take payment and keep financial records.
- To reply to your questions.
- To meet my legal and professional obligations.
I will only send you news or offers if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who I share it with
I never sell or rent your information. I use a small number of trusted services to run my practice, and they handle your information only to provide those services:
- HighLevel (LeadConnector): booking calendars, client records, and email and SMS reminders.
- Stripe: card payments.
- Google Workspace: email, calendar and Google Meet video sessions.
- My website host: to run this website.
I will otherwise only share your information with your consent, or where the law requires or allows it, such as where there is a serious threat to someone’s life, health or safety.
Information stored overseas
Some of these services store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. I choose providers with strong security practices, but by booking with me you understand your information may be held overseas.
Keeping it safe
Your information is kept in password-protected accounts that only I can access. Session notes are kept confidential. I keep client records for as long as my legal and professional obligations require, then delete or destroy them securely.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to correct it, at any time. Contact me using the details below and I will respond within 30 days. If I cannot give you access, I will explain why.
Concerns and complaints
If you are concerned about how I have handled your information, please contact me first and I will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
